Proposals for WITHINGTON PARK CIVIL WAR MONUMENT RESTORATION will be received by the City of Jackson Purchasing Coordinator, Kari Kerstetter, via the City of Jackson e-Procurement Portal, https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofjackson . The City of Jackson is inviting qualified Stone Conservators to submit proposals for Stone Conservationist services required for restoration and preservation of the Historical Civil War Monument, In Defense of the Flag, a bronze and granite statue dedicated to the City of Jackson in 1904. Prospective bidders are invited to attend a pre-bid meeting on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM. This will be held at the Monument location of 400 W. Michigan Ave., Jackson MI 49201. Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the proposed service and receive interpretations of the contract documents. Bidders may obtain Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Specifications and Contract Forms on the City of Jackson e-Procurement Portal, https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofjackson.&nbsp ; Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's pre-qualification and experience requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified as a Stone Conservator.
