The City of Wyandotte is seeking qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for the construction of concrete masonry dumpster enclosures. This project is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to maintain safe, durable, and visually appealing infrastructure for its public and commercial facilities. Contractors with experience in masonry work and commercial construction are encouraged to participate. Bid Opening: 2:00 p.m., Local Standard Time, Monday, April 13, 2026 Location: City Hall, 3200 Biddle Avenue, Wyandotte, Michigan Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the time of submission. Specifications and Proposal Forms All specifications, including blank proposal, contract, and bond forms, are available only through the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) website: www.mitn.info .Bids must include prices for all items as specified, covering full labor and materials for the complete execution of the work. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided, with all blanks properly filled. Prices must be written in both words and numerals. Bid Submission Requirements Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond, certified check, or cashier’s check payable to the City of Wyandotte for at least 5% of the bid amount. Bids without this guarantee will not be considered. The successful bidder must enter into a contract and furnish the required bonds within 20 days of the award. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the bidder’s bond or check as liquidated damages. City Rights The City reserves the right to: Reject any or all bids Waive formal defects in bids if deemed in the City’s best interest Award the contract in its entirety or by portions of the bid Equal Opportunity Statement The City of Wyandotte complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related federal regulations. Minority business enterprises will be provided full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, or national origin. Submission Instructions Deliver sealed proposals, including the bidder’s bond, certified check, or cashier’s check, to the City Clerk at City Hall no later than 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2026. The sealed envelope must be clearly labeled: “FILE #4904 – 2026 CONCRETE MASONRY DUMPSTER ENCLOSURES” Include the contractor’s name and address on the envelope.
